How do I place an order?

Select "Quick Order Form & proceed with order

" or select "Products" and follow the steps below

  1. Select the product category you require
  2. Enter the quantity required.
  3. Click 'add to my shopping basket'
  4. Click on 'keep shopping' to continue ordering yarn, books or patterns, once your order is complete
  5. Click on 'complete order' please make sure colours and quantities are correct.
  6. Complete your billing and address details and follow the prompts to the payment page.


How can I pay for my order?

Orders can be paid for on-line by credit card. You are required to have an email address to become a member or to place an order. If you do not already have an email address of your own, you may nominate the email address of a friend or you can immediately create an address free of charge at one of many on-line sites such as hotmail.com or yahoo.com or google.com


I don't live in Australia can I place an order?

Yes, international customers can place orders. The price can be converted to a currency of your choice. The freight price will be calculated and shown prior to confimation of your order.


Can I order over the phone or by email?

Yes,you can place an order by phone or email however you will need to provide credit card details by phone for payment.

How will I know you have received my order?

You wil receive email notification to confirm your order.

 
How do I know the ordering process is secure?

At Jo Sharp we are conscious of the need for security and that is why we use commonly accepted practices for online transactions. We adhere to the Consumers Online checklist. If you have any further queries, please refer to our Terms and Conditions or  Privacy Policy  webpages. If you have any further enquiries after checking these two sources, please contact us.

We understand that many customers are concerned about the security and protection of their credit card information. We will process you credit card transaction via NAB's Internet Merchant Acquiring Service (IMAS) in exactly the same way stores throughout Australia currently use the EFTPOS system.

The latest industry standard military grade 128 bit encryption technology will be our standard to protect your credit card information and keep your transaction details secure.

You can confirm that your browser is in secure mode in the checkout by looking for the padlock icon in the bottom right corner of your browser window. It you double click it, it should read:

We will only process your credit card once the goods are ready to be sent.


Does the yarn price include GST?

Our prices include GST.
International orders will not include GST.


What currencies are the prices shown in?

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars AUD.
A currency converter is available so you can view prices in other currencies
When alternative currencies are shown, note these are estimates only based on the exchange rates of the day.


Can I change my order after it has been finalised?

Sorry no, once your order is confirmed with payment it may not be cancelled.


When will you charge my order to my credit card?

Your credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed, once you confirm payment.


When will my order be shipped?

Orders received before noon will be shipped the same day. After noon it will be shipped the following day.

Can I collect my order in person?

Sorry no, orders may not be collected in person as our despatch warehouse does not cater to customer visits.
However you can visit you local Jo Sharp stockist to purchase directly.


How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery in Australia is 2 - 7 working days depending on the delivery address.
Most Australian capital cities within 2 - 3 days.
Deliveries to most other countries will take approx 5 - 12 days.

If a yarn type is out of stock will I be advised when the item is back in stock?

Out of stock items are advised on the website alongside items. If available, expected arrival times are shown for out of stock items.

When I increase my shopping cart volumes and click update, there is a red asterisk, what does it mean ?

If a red asterisk appears below an item in your shopping cart, this indicates the item is out of stock. You can either try a lower volume, or try again later when the item has been re-stocked. We regularly post ETA's (expected time of arrival) on out of stock items in the products area.

I have not received my order?

If you have not received your order within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us;

What if I have changed my mind on an item I ordered and received and no longer want?

Sorry, we do not accept returns on goods because you have changed your mind. However, if goods are faulty, please let us know with in 3 days of receiving your order. Please be sure to receive our agreement by phone or email before sending back goods that you believe are faulty. We may ask you to pay the  return freight depending upon the reason for return. We do not accept returns on books or patterns.

The goods I have received are not what I ordered

Occasionally there is a mistake made when packing the orders so please  email yarn@josharp.com and we will be in touch to make arrangements to correct the error within 24 hours.


How long do I have to return something to you?

We do not accept returns after 30 days from the date of your order.
